Agrobiodiversity for Improving Nutrition, Health and Life Quality

In 2022, the scientific journal Agrobiodiversity for Improving Nutrition, Health and Life Quality will provide two issues. The scientific journal creates the conditions for the presentation of scientific knowledge about wild-growing, traditional, underutilized, forgotten and less-known plant species for the scientific, agri-food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic public, consumers, and other uses of plant species. The priority is the presentation of original scientific papers by research teams as well as PhD students and students in recognizing the economic value of plant species and their practical use to support food safety, food security, improving nutrition, application in alternative forms of therapy, use of plant species for remediation of the water, soil and the environment, the expansion of bee and pollinator species, the use of less-known species in cosmetics and landscaping. The scientific journal will give priority to the original scientific papers in the form of reviews, but also scientific papers in the form of short reports suitable for publishing the results of students' final theses. In all forms, it is necessary to respect the guidelines for authors, which are available on this site. The scientific journal will continue to be published by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv within the established international network AgtoBioNet.

Announcements

Editorial

Every life has its beginning and its way. The journal Agrobiodiversity for Improving Nutrition, Health and Life Quality has its own ones. Roots go back to 2013, when the first proceedings of scientific papers was published under this title. In 2017, the format was changed to a serial with annual periodicity and in 2021 to a biannual scientific journal. However, the main topic has not changed: agrobiodiversity and its place in the life of the Man and the Earth.
